Customer Performance Summary (by Customer and Sub-Customer)

Use the Customer Performance report to view sales activity and order metrics by customer or by customer sub-account over any date range. This screen helps you quickly see totals, last order details, YTD/MTD sales, and the sales route or salesman associated with each account.

The system automatically aggregates data from your sales transactions and customer master records (customer and customer sub accounts).


Accessing the Report

Go to SOP→ Enquiries → Customer Performance. The page titled Customer Performance will appear.


Main Layout

  • Sales Analysis by Customer — totals per main customer account.
  • Sales Analysis by Sub-Account — results per sub-account, with the parent account shown.

Each tab includes a data grid and a bottom summary panel displaying totals.


Top Controls (Filters)

Date RangeChoose From and To dates (default: first day of month → today).
RouteFilter results by supply route.
SalesmanFilter by salesperson.
VAT OptionSelect Include VAT or Exclude VAT.
SuppliedAll or Supplied Only — restricts to supplied transactions.
OrderedAll / Ordered / Not Ordered — show customers who did or did not order.
Search (Account/Name)Type part of a name or number to filter automatically.
Research (Salesman/Route)Extra text filter on salesman or route fields.

Buttons

  • Refresh — runs the analysis and loads the grid.
  • Export — exports current grid to CSV or Excel (if enabled).
  • Close — closes the form.

Grid Columns — What They Mean

A/C No / Sub A/C NoAccount or sub-account code.
Customer Name / Sub A/C NameAccount or sub-account name.
Parent AccountMain account for sub-account (Sub Account tab only).
Total OrdersNumber of unique orders within date range.
Order ValueTotal value of those orders.
Last Order DateDate of most recent order.
Last Order ValueValue of most recent order.
Last Order QtyQuantity in the most recent order.
YTD SalesTotal sales value since start of current year.
MTD SalesTotal sales for the current month.
SalesmanSales representative from last order.
Sales RouteSales route from last order.

Bottom Summary Panel

After refreshing, totals appear below the grid:

  • Records — number of rows displayed.
  • Total Qty / Total Orders — total order counts or quantities.
  • Total Sales — sum of Order Values.
  • MTD / YTD Totals — sum of Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date columns.

How to Run a Basic Analysis

  1. Select the desired From and To dates.
  2. (Optional) Choose Route and/or Salesman.
  3. Adjust VAT / Supplied / Ordered options.
  4. Click Refresh — results populate and totals update automatically.

Sub-Account Specifics

  • The Sub Account tab shows sub-accounts alongside their parent accounts.
  • Ideal for reviewing performance by branch, store, or subsidiary.
  • Route and salesman filters apply per sub-account transaction.

Example Scenarios

Show all customers with orders this monthSet From = first of month, To = today, Ordered = Ordered, click Refresh.
Show sub-accounts for route “RT_LOCAL”Open Sub Account tab, choose route RT_LOCAL, click Refresh.

Common Issues & Quick Fixes

No results after refreshExpand date range, clear Route/Salesman filters, or adjust Ordered/Supplied options.
Totals look incorrectVerify VAT setting and ensure the correct tab/date range is selected.
Search not applying instantlyWait briefly (~300 ms) after typing, or click Refresh.
Missing columns in exportClick Refresh before exporting to update the grid.

Tips

  • Use the Sub Account view for branch-level insights.
  • Combine Route and Salesman filters for focused reports.
  • Save or note down your preferred filter combinations for reuse.

If results appear incorrect or fields are missing:

  1. Note your selected date range and filters.
  2. Provide a sample account number and describe what you expected.
  3. Send these details to your support team for review.
